I am half Filipino-half Iranian. I spent my childhood in Iran (my Dad is an Iranian). When I turned 13, I moved to Philippines with my Mom and my younger sister to live and study here (my Mom is Filipino). I really had hard time adjusting to the culture and school, since I didn’t know how to speak, read and write in English nor Filipino. But finally after few years of struggle and dedication I managed to finish my Computer Engineering course (although I wanted to become a heart surgeon when I was little!) with the help of my athlete scholarship in Chess-Women throughout college.
I got married two years ago. My husband is a businessman and he is such a kind soul. We don’t have kids yet but planning to have one when the time is just right. We live with my Mom now, for she is getting old and no one is around to watch over her.
For recreation I love to play board games specially chess and also shopping is really my thing. I also played soccer when I was in college for my department. Actually I love all kinds of sports and tried playing volleyball, basketball, softball, kickball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton and even dance sports. Sadly I have no spare time for sports these days.

My Work

My first job was at one of the top Airline Companies here in Iloilo City as a ticketing and reservation agent. The job was fun but it paid low and was not related to my field of study. When I got married I had to resign and move to another city for a while, so I started teaching in a local college for a semester then returned back to Iloilo and started looking for another job. I was hired by one of the leading Telecommunication Companies in the Philippines but I hated my job. I had to go out everyday of my life under the hot sun and try to bring in more recruits every time. The worst part was the company did not even provide a vehicle and I was to carry this very heavy load of Streamer, Booklets, etc around with me.
Now I am with Eversun Software Philippines Corporation.
As the project manager of the website Agents of Value a Webmaster Staffing Company I also handle the site’s maintenance, promotion and customer care.
I love my job now.
